By integrating our Customer Service Role with Global Fuel Services Administration, this individual will be poised to  gain experience and opportunity for growth from the start.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities

  • Customer Service – You will serve as the first impression for Global Aviation, proactively welcoming and assisting passengers, flight crews, clients, and employees. You will be the central point of contact for transient clients, responsible for processing their service requests and payments.
  • Global Fuel Sales – 50% of your time will be managing the Global Fuel Sales program. This includes entering sales into Quickbooks, creating customer statements and invoices, processing payment via POS and reconciling charge accounts.
  • Communication – You will be the central point of communication for the campus, managing and directing incoming phone calls on a multi-line phone system as well as Unicom & handheld radio systems for ramp communications.
  • Scheduling and Coordinating – You will coordinate aircraft arrivals and departures from Global Aviation this includes; making reservations for hotel & transportation as requested by flight crews, assisting with passenger transportation and requests, arranging for catering, crew car scheduling and on-site meeting room scheduling.
  • Security Support – As a Front Desk employee, you will assist in Global Aviation’s compliance with Homeland Security TSA rules and regulations by issuing and retrieving visitor badges, monitoring visitors entering the campus and facility, activating and terminating card keys as necessary, and running daily access reports.
  • Administrative Duties – At times you will be called on for the general clerical support as requested by the various departments within Global Aviation as well as stocking and maintaining of office supplies as well as sorting and distributing mail.
  • Office Aesthetics –  As part of the first impression for Global Aviation, you will be responsible for the general aesthetics of the common areas surrounding the front lobby

*Hours include weekends, Saturday & Sunday, 0700-1630.  

Specific Job Skills & Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service and teamwork skills;
  • Professional appearance and attitude;
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure;
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently;
  • Experience in MS Office applications with good keyboarding and 10-key skills;
  • Experience in using multi-line phone systems;
  • Experience using general office equipment, such as copy, scan and fax machine;
  • Physical ability to hear, talk and sit for extended periods;
  • Possession and maintenance of a valid driver’s license from state of residence, a good driving record within the last three years.
  • Satisfactory pre-employment drug screening and background check results.
