Erica Hogetvedt at Global Aviation in HIllsboro, Oregon

Erica Hogetvedt – Global Aviation’s newest Charters Flight Coordinator

In June Global Aviation welcomed a new team member to the Charter department. Erica Hogetvedt has taken on the role as flight coordinator and is embracing the exciting and fast-paced world of flight operations and scheduling.

Erica has been hooked on aviation ever since she took a class for private pilot ground school. The class included her first ride in an airplane and there was no going back. Erica earned her private pilot’s license and then decided to pursue a college degree in Aviation Management.

Erica has experience in many facets of aviation and found her passion for business aviation through a position at the NBAA. She has worked and supervised in FBO operations, dispatch and customer service, as well as completed the NATA’s safety-first line service supervisor training.

Erica’s move to Global Aviation was no small leap. Erica is a proud Minnesotan from Mankato. She is grateful for landing at a company that has made her feel great about her new home.

“Global Aviation has been so welcoming! They truly are a great team, and have that family feel,” said Erica. “It is such a great culture to be a part of. I have been looking for a company that I can grow with, and this has been the perfect fit.”

Erica spends much of her free time exploring Oregon on foot. She is currently training for her third half marathon. She is also making a point to hike a new part of the state every weekend while the weather is good. Come winter though, Erica will be on Mt. Hood snowboarding. She grew up competing in snowboarding and, of course, playing some Minnesotan hockey. Her other interests include horseback riding and she loves a good book.
