Dassault Falcon will be showcasing the new Falcon 5X mock up at Global Aviation, March 31 through April 1, 2014.
Invited guests can see first hand how the Falcon 5X’s six feet, four inches of stand-up head room – the largest cabin cross section in business aviation – will make each flight a more spacious, more comfortable and ultimately, more productive experience.
The Falcon 5X comfort advantages continue with very low cabin altitude (3,900 feet at a cruise altitude of 41,000 feet) and excellent lighting (over 28 expansive windows and a skylight), so travelers arrive refreshed.
Passengers can also relax and access a vast video and music library on the portable devices anywhere in the cabin via the FalconCabin HD+ cabin management system.
Air travelers will also appreciate the efficient design of the Falcon 5X. The 5,200 nautical mile range and top speed of Mach .90 are complemented by fuel consumption up to 30 percent lower than competitors.
Also noteworthy on the 5X is its robust airframe. A short mission with a landing at 95 percent of max takeoff weight, can be followed by a complete trans-oceanic flight. In addition, with approach speeds of only 105 knots at typical landing weight, the 5X can access small airports and runways of less than 3,000 feet. This allows the 5X to use about 20 percent more airports than competitors.
