Visit Global Aviation in Booth #904 at the NBAA Maintenance Management Conference

Global Aviation will welcome the 2015 NBAA Maintenance Management Conference to Portland, Oregon this May 5-7 at the Oregon Convention Center. NBAA events enable Global Aviation team members to connect with customers while also gaining valuable training and education resources.

Global Aviation, in Booth #904, will be part of a dynamic exhibit hall specializing in product and service providers for business aircraft maintenance, service and support. Attendees are encouraged to stop by the booth to visit with Global Aviation representatives and pick up a complimentary Moonstruck chocolate bar and their famous airplane paper clips.

“Global Aviation is taking advantage of all that the NBAA Maintenance Management Conference has to offer,” said Carla Boleen, Charter Operations Manager. “Members of our maintenance team will be available to talk about exciting updates in our work with Garmin Avionics, Line Service polishing of aircraft, our current charter fleet, FBO services, and maintenance.

Boleen will be joined in the booth by Fred Elliot – Avionics, Bill Moore – Line Service Manager, and Dennis Yamauchi – Maintenance Marketing. Global Aviation will also have various team members attending classes regarding the latest opportunities and requirements in aviation.

The NBAA Maintenance Management Conference is the third 2015 NBAA event for Global Aviation. In February, Boleen and a small team attended the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference in San Jose, California. A highlight at the conference was its emphasis on the various roles in emergency response and preparedness.

“This year’s event added classes to give exhibitors more opportunity to attend them, and we took advantage,” said Boleen. “The live simulation of an emergency response situation brought to light new considerations that we will use to enhance our Emergency Response Plan.”

Also in February, Global Aviation President Flo Newton attended the  2015 NBAA Leadership Conference in Tucson, Arizona.  The conference offered two days of sessions intended to enhance management expertise, share best practices, and build relationships between industry leaders.

“It was a full two days of motivational and thought provoking discussions at the NBAA Leadership Conference,” said Newton. “I think we took away something from every one of the speakers, which makes it time well spent.”
