Proceeds from the Gala will be used to support the vitally important work of the World Forest Institute (WFI) that provides professional development and education programs for foresters and natural resource professionals. The WFI receives ongoing funding by the Harry A. Merlo Foundation. Over the next 10 years, The Merlo Foundation has pledged $1.25 million in a pledge matching challenge.
