Jackie Hunnicutt, Global Aviation’s new Maintenance Administrative Assistant

Global Aviation welcomed Jackie Hunnicutt to its growing maintenance team in July. Hunnicutt brings years of experience, skill and organization to the award-winning team as the new Maintenance Administrative Assistant.

Hunnicutt began her career in aviation 17 years ago in Aurora, Oregon as an administrative assistant to the Chief Inspector at a company that provided helicopter support in logging, firefighting, and overseas oil projects.

“I really enjoy working in aviation and am excited to continue working in the field. The position at Global Aviation is just what I was looking for,” said Hunnicutt.

Through Hunnicutt’s years in aviation she has worn many hats as an assistant, reliability and back up receiving inspector, as well as a technical writer.

“The skills I have acquired along the way and my ability to adapt to new situations has helped me grow in my career,” says Hunnicutt. “My personality fits in well with the group I am working with at Global Aviation. We like to have fun and also get the job done.”

Hunnicutt is enjoying her new role, the people and new opportunities to learn.  She jokes that even her back country road commute from her home in Aurora to Global Aviation in Hillsboro is an interesting part of her day. “I never know what farm implement or dump truck I am going to encounter with my drive over the mountain.”

In her hours away from work, Hunnicutt enjoys escaping with her family for camping trips and adventures to the Oregon coast. She also gardens and feeds her creativity with crochet needles and her sewing machine.
