General Position Summary:

Position is responsible for quoting, scheduling and coordinating charter flights while meeting the highest levels of customer service and operational objectives.  Position exercises independent judgment in performing duties with moderate supervision operating under established procedures as well as within the parameters of the Company’s General Operations Manual (GOM) and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).  Mistakes/errors may result in loss of business and poor customer relations as well as adverse financial implications for the Company.  Position must exercise a high level of confidentially.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

  • Quote charter trips as requested by customer
  • Follow up with customers on quotes provided
  • Coordinate all flight details such as desired destinations, times, catering, ground transportation, crew hotel, crew ground transportation
  • Interface with customers and/or their designee to coordinate passenger flight details
  • Interface with Flight Operations for crew pairing and assignments as well as aircraft operational related matters
  • Interface with Maintenance in coordinating maintenance schedule and aircraft airworthiness
  • Interface with flight crews in communicating flight details and itinerary changes
  • On call rotation
  • Administrative duties such as posting flights and invoicing
  • Attend trade shows and events

Specific Job Skills/Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service and teamwork skills are essential
  • Professional appearance and attitude is required
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure are required
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently is required
  • Experience with MS Office applications with good keyboarding skills is required
  • Possession and maintenance of a valid driver’s license from state or residence is required
  • Physical ability to hear, talk and sit for long periods of time is required
  • Satisfactory pre-employment drug screening and background check results will be required

Education and/or Experience:

  • A high school education or equivalent is required.
  • Experience of one of more years as a Flight Coordinator/Dispatcher or experience in the aviation industry is desired.
