Fantasy Football top finishers: Alex Moyer (2nd place), Josh Larson (1st place) and Nathan Harte (3rd place)
The Global Aviation Line Service Department wrapped up its second exciting Fantasy Football season in January. Congratulations are due to Josh Larson, Purchasing Assistant, who has won his second Portland Metro Ballers League Championship.
Bill Moore, Line Service Manager, started the league at Global Aviation as a creative way for the line service team to connect and have some competitive fun. The league champion wins bragging rights, a little cash and a place on a trophy proudly displayed at Global Aviation.
Like any competition, the season had its ups and downs. Back in October, Alex Moyer, Line Service Technician, took an early lead in the season with a 5-0 record. Ultimately, Josh’s team rallied to take first place. Alex finished in second place and Nathan Harte, Facility Manager, placed third in the league of 12 teams.
Bill has seven years of Fantasy Football experience in his pocket. While he admits this season was one of his worst, it doesn’t sway him from enjoying the camaraderie and conversation Fantasy Football brings to the team. Bill said, “It was a very fun season, and we all can’t wait until next year’s season begins!”
