Michael Parker – Global Aviation Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Global Aviation welcomed technician Michael Parker to the Maintenance Team in March. Parker brings strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to his role in keeping customer and in-house aircraft in accordance with Global Aviation’s repair station and part 135 operation manuals.

Parker feels his new position is a great fit for his passion for aviation and the professional priorities he sets for himself. “The company promotes safety as a top priority which is an extremely important position to take in this industry,” said Parker. “I am encouraged to continually learn and better myself in this role.”

Parker also notes that both the sense of “family” among staff at Global Aviation and working “on some of the nicest aircraft in the industry” have made his transition to the company very easy.

As a native Oregonian, Parker also enjoys spending free time exploring the outdoors here with his “beautiful fiancée.” They can also often be found at Oregon State Beaver home games. Parker is currently attending Portland Community College with the goal of an Associates Degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology.
